At Hotel Derby we take care of the environment!

Today more than ever we value attention to the environment and we have adopted an ECOLOGY policy with commitment that we also try to convey to our guests, with small daily gestures in the name of respect for the environment and enhancement of our area.

Each of us has an obligation to respect the planet, adopting all measures not to waste.

How the Hotel Derby contributes to respecting the environment:

- In the renovation of the rooms we have used materials with a reduced environmental impact

- At the reception there are brochures feauturing: naturalistic itineraries, cultural and gastronomic excursions

- At the reception we provide information on timetables for trains, buses, etc. to avoid using the car

- Bicycles are available free of charge for guests for excursions and short journeys

- For breakfast we have eliminated single-serving packs as much as possible by using quality bulk products. All disposable cups and straws are compostable.

- We use micro-filtered water and served in glass bottles for less plastic consumption

- KM 0: use of locally sourced fruit and vegetables (Cesena fruit and vegetable market)

- Waste sorting

- In the bathrooms, the refillable dispensers allow you to offer a quality shampoo-shower by limiting the use of single-dose products

- We use the minimum doses of detergent required for proper cleaning

- Cleaning is done with ecological detergents and microfibre cloths instead of chemicals

- Showers and faucets have flow reducers that reduce water waste

- We water the plants in the cool hours of the day, limiting the waste of water
