What are the advantages if I book directly?

Booking directly from this site you can take advantage of the Holiday Packages, obtaining the best price guaranteed and  beach service included.
In addition you can enjoy many benefits such as: unlimited Wi-Fi in the room and throughout the hotel; drinks at meals included; GLUTEN FREE breakfast (on request, always available) and the possibility to customize your menu in case of special allergies (on request); free luggage storage both on the day of arrival and the day of departure.

CHECK IN and CHECK OUT: At what time can I occupy my room on the day of arrival, and when should I leave it on the day of departure?

The rooms are available from 2:00pm the day of arrival; on the day of check out remain at your disposal until 10.00am.

For all guests who book directly from this web-site, we reserve the possibility to leave luggage in storage on the day of departure and also on the day of check-in in case of early arrival, to enjoy the common areas and the services of the beach and restaurant.

What time does the Hotel close?

The Reception of Hotel Derby is always open ( H24/7 ). Our Night Porter is available in case of arrival or return of guests anytime for the whole night

Do you offer Internet connection?

You can enjoy free WI-FI in the rooms and in all the common areas within the hotel.

Is breakfast included in the price?

Yes, we offer included in the price Continental Buffet Breakfast with homemade sweet and savoury products, served daily in the restaurant from 07:30 until 10:00am. Always available also gluten-free products and suitable for those suffering from lactose intolerance.

Is the tourist tax included in the room rate?

No, the Tourist Tax is a Municipal Tax that must be paid to the City of Rimini. It must be paid on site upon arrival at the hotel. The cost is € 3.00 per person per night, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Children under 14 years of age are exempt.

Where can I park my car?

Hotel Derby has a private parking, insured and fenced, with limited places and at an additional cost. You can reserve your parking space at the time of booking or upon arrival. If availability is over, you can use another private parking  about 700 meters from the property, fenced, video surveillance and served by a shuttle 24 hours.

Can I drive directly to the hotel?

The entrance of the private parking of the Hotel is on the sea side, seafront. After your checking-in, you can enter directly by car, check the assigned place and enter then the hotel through a dedicated entrance, equipped with an elevator to get to the Reception. If you arrive by taxi, you can access directly from the front entrance of the Hotel on Viale Regina Elena.

How far is Rimini Train Station?

You can reach the Hotel from Rimini station:

  • By Metromare, in just 5 minutes; Stop "Lagomaggio";
  • By taxi, in just 10 minutes;
  • By autobus (n.11) in 20 minutes, stop n.20

Are you close to  Fiera di Rimini and  Palazzo dei Congressi?

The exhibition center of Rimini is about 7 km from our Hotel. You can easily reach it by car, bus or train.

The Palacongressi of Rimini is about 3.5 km from our Hotel. It is easily reached by car or bus.

How far is the historic center of Rimini?

The historic center of Rimini is only 4.5 Km. You can easily reach it by metromare (stop Lagomaggio, 2 min. walk from the hotel), or by bus n.11 in just 20 minutes.

Is there air conditioning in the rooms?

Yes, in all rooms you can personally regulate both Air Conditioning and Heating.

Do you have rooms for Smokers?

As required by Italian law for public places, all public areas and rooms of the Derby Hotel are NO Smoking. All the rooms of our Hotel have a balcony, equipped with chair and table with ashtray to meet your needs. For the respect of the Guests staying in the hotel after you, please respect this rule.

Is it possible to book tickets for the Amusement Parks of the Riviera?

Yes, a designated operator will come directly to the Hotel to deliver the required tickets with presale discount and skip-the-line access to the entrance.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we accept major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Cartasì and American Express.

Do children have free of charge stay?

Children up to 2 years of age have free of charge stay, in bed with parents, or in crib (camping beds) provided free of charge upon request. For older children a discount is reserved.

Does the hotel have an on-site restaurant?

Yes, the Hotel has an internal restaurant open all year round for Breakfast service and during the summer season (and in case of extraordinary openings) also for Lunch and Dinner service. Bar with cafeteria and drinks, open 24 hours a day

Are pets allowed?

Small and medium sized pets are allowed up to a maximum of 15kg. These have free access to public areas and beach except for the restaurant and the hydrorelax area. We apply a cleaning and sanitization supplement of 10,00 €/day.

Where can I rent bicycles?

Hotel Derby offers its guests free bicycles for a pleasant ride along promenade. Bikes are available throughout the day but not for evening use (return by 8:00 pm). Some bikes have child seats. Alternatively, there is possibility to rent bicycles, rickshaws and scooters just 5 minutes from the Hotel.
